Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
The role of the supply chain business partner is to lead supply chain and being contact of the company CHC Deliver the best in class customer service with optimized cost , including yet not limited to, ensuring successful product launches and tenders, leading IBP cycle, providing real time support and analysis, actively contributing to key business meetings with commercial teams, adding value in decision making as well as promoting best practices External focus and able to connect supply chain objectives to business objectives and drive projects to improve business results, maximize topline and bottom line performance of the P&L Go beyond the standard service delivery, give business insight, improve decision making, ultimately boost performance of the whole organization
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The incumbent will report directly to the ID Head based in Jakarta.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities
Supply Chain
  • Drive forecast excellence and business intelligence both short and long term, providing inputs on trend analyses and defining forecasting models in collaboration with the respective brand teams/business units
  • Interface with Sanofi logistic teams, Distribution platforms and Regional Supply Chain organizations for net demand planning and product delivery follow-up
  • Lead IBP with best in class standards to ensure that sales and profitability targets are achieved
  • Continuously improve forecasting process towards one number. Budget and T1/T2 to be integral part of IBP
  • Ensure best service at optimum cost and inventory. Proactively manage risk on product supply with proper communication to key business partners and manage arbitration with key stakeholders (medical, regulatory, finance, commercial, GM…)
  • Anticipate, monitor and follow-up logistics consequences of regulatory activities relating to visa expiries/renewals, new product launches, site transfers or variations with various stakeholders (plants, regulatory affairs, quality).
Distribution Management
  • Be actively involved in the development of distribution strategies in Country lead/drive projects in order to achieve improvement in efficiency and overall reduction in transportation and distribution costs.
  • Support and provide information on trade stock levels and trade stocks dispersion to the Commercial teams.
  • Review all distribution-related activities and identify ways to improve (eg. Reduction in lead-time or delays).
Compliance
  • Regularly update SOPs and internal procedures to ensure adherence across the organization.
  • Ensure all business and promotional activities comply with relevant codes, legal demands and ethical standards, including external and Sanofi internal Code of Conduct in collaboration with key stakeholders in Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Compliance.
  • Ensure all supply contracts comply with relevant Acts, legal demand and ethical standards.
Health, Safety and Environment
  • Cooperate with management in the provision of a healthy and safe workplace at the warehouse/distribution centres
  • Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviours and immediately notify the Manager of any serious incidents; complete an incident / Injury Report and forward to Human Resources within 48 hours where necessary.

Internal:
  • Regional SC team, IA plants, IA Export DC, Global SC team, Internal audit
  • Country management board members and main functions (regulatory, medical, BUs Head, Finance, Controlling, Internal Control, Commercial, IS…)
External:
  • Local distributors, wholesalers, 3rd party logistic providers
  • Third party Suppliers, Co-manufacturers
Job Knowledge/Skills/Attitudes
  • Ability to travel regularly
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects (over time)
  • Min. 2-4 years in pharma sector/ FMCG of increasing responsibilities in supply chain management/operations experience, including experience in demand planning, distribution and warehouse management, logistics and transportation, purchasing and customs compliance
  • Proven proactive communication skill
  • Strong leadership skills, leading teams toward a culture of collaboration and excellence of performance through Engagement
  • Being innovative, impactful and influential and passionate to drive for results
  • In depth knowledge of key supply chain/logistics processes & current best practices
  • Ability to manage cost performance, supply/demand forecasting & distribution execution across a variety of product lines from multiple sources
  • Knowledge of MRPII concepts and systems, exposure to SAP & experience in supply chain planning tools such as Demand Solutions, Manugistics will be an advantage
Desirable Skills, Experience And Qualifications
  • Possess a global perspective with the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse and large organization
  • Demonstrate good command of English, fair in Mandarin will be a plus
  • Master’s degree and APICS certification will be a plus
  • Background in pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage
  • University degree, preferably majoring in Engineering, Business or Logistics Management
  • Proficient in MS software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
