As a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist, you will be responsible for contributing to improv HSE performance, supporting the organization to deliver a high-performing culture through clear line management accountability and a competent organization in the Industrial Automation.
Reporting to the LBL Manager, you will be leading by example, applying your in-depth HSE knowledge to provide solutions and advice to address a variety of challenges.
This position is based in Tangerang, Indonesia.
Your responsibilities

• Reporting progress on implementation of ABB Group sustainability objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ABB Group as required
• Improving Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) performance in the respective organization to ensure an exemplary health and safety culture as well as a strong focus on the environment
• Facilitating Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) risks assessment by line management involving shop floor employees, i.e., those directly concerned by the hazards and ensures all processes are implemented
• Reporting HSE incidents and providing feedbacks on lessons learned and best practice from own unit and across ABB to management and employees
• Managing project resources such as manpower, financials and other relevant factors
• Ensuring appropriate safety equipment and tools are available and used to identifying, planning and initiating training need, e.g., for employees, site managers and agree with to ensures delivery of training from the CoE
• Supporting the business by applying in-depth Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) knowledge to offer solutions and advice

Your background

• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
• A bachelor’s degree in chemical or Environmental or Industrial Engineering
• Fluent in English both written and spoken is must and capable of making report in English
• More than 5 + years of experience in Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)
• Ability to manage complex issues and work with cross-functional teams
