- Oversee end to end warehouse operations in both our dry and fresh central distribution centres

- Work with Warehouse Managers and external stakeholders to ensure that our productivity, cost, service quality and wastage targets are met

- Proactively report and communicate on progress, issues and challenges to management, peers and external stakeholders

- Use data to identify risks, areas of improvements and opportunities to improve and increase efficiency

- Establish and maintain relationships with both cross-functional teams and third parties, such as vendors, to over-communicate on problems/progress so as to quickly solve issues

- Use project management tools and work across functions to effectively plan and implement new initiatives

- Work closely with management and the People team to build and maintain a high-performing and sustainable working culture in our warehouses

- Invest time with team members of all levels that require coaching and mentoring to be better at what they do

- Constantly be reviewing team and individual performance to ensure that everyone is contributing and working at a high level

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree from Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management

- Minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role in warehouse fulfilment, ecommerce fulfilment or logistics

- Proficiency with common business applications, including both spreadsheet and word processing software (i.e., Microsoft Office, Google Suites, etc.)

- Proven track record in setting up and/or significantly achieving operations fulfilment metrics.

- Demonstrated ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities

- The "never-give-up" mindset

- Constantly seeks feedback from peers to identify personal blindspots and areas for improvement

- High-energy individual with a can-do attitude

- Quickly adapt in a fast paced environment.

- Strong work ethic, characterized by initiative, drive and goal orientation

- Strong demonstrated leadership, supervisory and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex information, assess problems, and develop effective solutions

- Strong skills in the use of operations performance data, and other information resources for management analysis, evaluation, and decision-making
