Head Bartender Jobs

The Head Bartender (Mixologist) oversees the outlet's bar operations and other bartenders' work to ensure that they provide a positive customer experience. The Head Bartender (Mixologist) ensures the smooth running of the bar. The Head Bartender (Mixologist) should also be skilled in serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to restaurant and bar patrons. The Head Bartender (Mixologist) may serve beer and wine, make classic drinks or create new recipes for cocktails.

Responsibilities

1. Work in partnership with the Food & Beverage Manager and General Manager to execute the smooth and flawless operation of the Bar and Restaurant.
2. Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
3. Complete all bartender duties when necessary.
4. Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation.
5. Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the bar.
6. Ensure that all details of service are performed by the bartenders to expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service in line with SOPs.
7. Train bartenders and service team to ensure beverage knowledge and service levels are to standard.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of head bartender experience
2. Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks
3. Strong commitment to service
4. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
