The client is a prominent company in the modern retail industry, established on 1997. They launched their initial venture into modern retail by opening their first supermarket, under a franchise license from a USA-based brand, in 1998. They adapted this supermarket's concept to suit the needs of upper and middle class customers in Indonesia.

They became publicly listed in 2012, offering 312,897,500 shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, a significant corporate action that has been authorized and approved by the Republic of Indonesia's Minister of Law and Human Rights. By early 2020, the client operated 48 stores across multiple cities in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Jabodetabek, Surabaya, Malang, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Pekanbaru, Ambon, Dumai & Palembang. The stores consisted of several brands, targeting different customer segments.

Responsibilities

• Performance Tuning: You will be responsible for optimizing the performance of both existing objects and new requirements. Through careful analysis and tuning, you'll ensure that our systems are not only stable and reliable but also capable of meeting the changing demands of our business.
• Implementing Modifications: Working closely with our Functional Analysts, you will take on the responsibility of implementing modifications in our SAP systems based on their requests. Your role will involve understanding their requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and making the necessary adjustments to our systems.
• Enhancing SAP Standard Program: Following the needs of the business and technical requirements, you will enhance our SAP standard program by leveraging user exits. Your efforts will contribute to a more customized and effective system that aligns with our specific operational needs.
• Troubleshooting and Resolving Program Issues: You will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying any errors within our programs and handling any reported issues swiftly and efficiently. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and any disruptions are minimized.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree is preferred.
• 1+ year experience in SAP ABAPer is essential.
• Having knowledge in ABAP modules, such as Form, Report, Enhancement, User Exit Dialog Program, Recording, and BSP Application.
• Passionate programmer with motivation to learn new things.
