Financial Controller - Ayana Komodo

AYANA Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at AYANA Komodo, a luxurious resort located in the stunning surroundings of Komodo National Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the resort and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial reports. They will work closely with senior management and department heads to implement financial strategies and provide insights into business performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance for the resort
• Provide financial analysis and advice to department heads to support decision-making
• Oversee all aspects of financial operations of AYANA Komodo
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast and prepare regular financial reports for senior management
• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue and maximize profitability
• Manage cash flow and liquidity risk and optimize working capital
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports and oversee the preparation of financial statements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with financial reporting and financial analysis
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Controller in the hospitality industry
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
