Job Role / Job Overview

The SI Engineer role reports to the Engineering Manager.

• To ensure new product introduction (NPI) implementation to meet VCD and meeting Customer quality expectation
• To improve and optimize the product quality and yield that related to test performance
• To control and improve on the manufacturing processes that related to product test performance
• To ensure that quality of Product/New product can pass testing requirement by Customer

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electronic components and equipment
• Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations
• Assist in supporting the daily Engineering Operation
• Analyze customer needs and determine electrical system requirements, capacity, and cost to develop a system plan
• Interface with manufacturing and production for board changes, debugging and testing needs
• To perform any tasks assigned by the superior
• Design electronic components, software, products, or systems for commercial, industrial, medical, military, or scientific applications
• Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair
• Plan and develop applications and modifications for electronic properties used in parts and systems to improve technical performance

Education & Certifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred with at least 5-8 years experience.
• Knowledge and familiarity with electrical/ electronic components, cable / wire harness, etc. would be a plus.

Job Specific Technical Requirements

• Familiar with Microsoft office, AUTO CAD & Microsoft Project is advantage, Internet literate.

Job Specific Personal Requirements

• Good concentration and initiatives to apply academic knowledge to new tasks in every project undertaken.
• Speaking and interpersonal skills. Reasonable communications with Engineers, Technicians, or Customers.

Languages

• Fluency in English is essential.
• Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia language skills will be a plus
