Key Responsibilities:
1. Media Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective digital media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives, target audience insights, and budget constraints.
2. Media Planning and Buying: Research, analyze, and recommend the best digital media channels (e.g., social media, display advertising, paid search, video, etc.) to achieve campaign goals. Negotiate with media vendors to secure optimal ad placements and rates.
3. Campaign Execution: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of digital media campaigns, including ad trafficking, tracking, and monitoring. Ensure campaigns are launched on time and run smoothly throughout the designated period.
4. Budget Management: Manage and allocate the digital media budget effectively to maximize ROI. Monitor spending and make data-driven adjustments to optimize campaign performance.
5. Audience Segmentation: Work closely with data analytics teams to identify and understand target audience segments. Develop personalized messaging strategies to resonate with specific demographics and interests.
6. Performance Analysis: Regularly track and analyze campaign performance metrics, such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, return on ad spend (ROAS), and other relevant KPIs. Provide detailed reports to the marketing team, highlighting insights and recommending improvements.
7. Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital media trends, tools, and technologies. Proactively propose innovative ideas to enhance the company's digital marketing efforts.
8. Collaborative Approach: Liaise with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and analytics, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of marketing initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Digital Media Planner or in a similar role within the digital advertising industry.
- Proficiency in digital media platforms and tools, such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Display & Video 360, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in digital media planning and buying.
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising and ad tech is a plus.
