Job Description

The Dental Clinic Manager assists in overseeing both the front and back office daily dental operations within Sunset Dental Bali. The primary goals for this position include: updating the daily clinic schedule, troubleshooting scheduling problems, creating efficient workflows, and ensuring effective communication between the dentists, back office, front office, and patients. The Dental Clinic Manager is responsible for supporting the provision of excellent services while creating a positive patient experience.


Responsibilities

·Assists in the management of day-to-day dental operations to ensure patient needs are met

·Supervise support staffs

·Prepares, closely monitors, and manages the daily clinic schedule to ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner

·Corrects problems with scheduling or workflows and makes recommendations for systems improvement

·Responsible for ensuring the clinic is appropriately staffed at all times by planning coverage in advance and creating staff work schedules

·Communicates with Dental Leadership to ensure effective relay of information pertinent to clinic operations

·Assigns and monitors timely completion of support staff assignments

·Orients and trains new staff on clinic operations and provides ongoing training for existing staff

·Participates in quality improvement projects and other duties

·Oversees monitoring and inventory of dental supplies

·Possesses an understanding of the dental receptionist/front office role and offers occasional support as needed

·Responsible for timely, accurate submission of timekeeping processes to payroll

·Means to travel from one branch to another, required as necessary



Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·Having working experience in a healthcare environment is preferred

·One year of supervisory experience

·Working experience at a dental clinic is highly preferred

·Strong verbal and written communication skills

·Possess a deep understanding of clinical operations and workflows

·Strong problem-solving skills

·Knowledge of and proficiency in finance, human resource management, and principles of business

·Knowledge and use of dental terminology

·Experience with Electronic Health Records is preferred

·Expert in English


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is frequently required to do the following:

·Use standard office equipment and access, input, and retrieve information from a computer. Use a computer keyboard with manual and finger dexterity and wrist-finger speed sufficient to perform repetitive actions efficiently for extended periods of time.

·Communicate effectively in person or via telephone in a manner that can be understood by those with whom the person is speaking, including a diverse population.

·Give and follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail and accuracy.

·Perform complex mental functions and basic arithmetic functions; interpret complex laws, regulations, and policies; collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information.

·Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
