Database Administrator Engineer Jobs

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

• Refine and automate regular administrative processes related to access or changes to the database, identify problems in what can occur, and document any changes.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain database performance properly to ensure database security, performance, and availability to support bank operations.
• Provide and control access based on user requests in accordance with the field and work needs.
• Manage the bank's database which includes the overall financial and operational activities of the bank, from development to implementation.
• Evaluate the problems/constraints and solutions provided related to operational systems and processes and make reports to provide input to superiors and ensure that the solutions provided do not deviate from applicable internal and external provisions and regulations.
• Analyze and perform troubleshooting for any problems affecting the database.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and review database performance per certain period.

Qualifications

• Able to speak in english
• S1/D4 Computer Science/S1 Information Systems/S1 Electrical Engineering/S1 with relevant qualifications
• Have experience in database maintenance, monitoring, sizing, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Minimum 1 year maintenance of Database Production RDBMS (TDSQL, Mysql Cluster, MariaDB, Oracle)
• Linux OS knowledge, bash scripting
• Ability to troubleshoot and performance tuning database.
