About the job

We are looking for a Data Science Engineer to join our Technology team. You will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer to identify multiple sources of data, develop master data references, data models and pipelines, implement data science algorithms and models, and data warehousing solutions to scale KiteSense’s business. You will also work with the data preparation team to extract, transform and load the data into data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to extract meaningful insights abd build predictive or descriptive models
• Learn how to develop and maintain data pipelines
• Implement and optimise data science algorithms and models. This involves writing efficient, scalable and reusable code.
• Keep data warehouse models in sync with data source changes
• Learn how to design and maintain data models
• Design, Develop and Automate ETL processes
• Develop data models and master data references
• Refine, Maintain and Support existing data generation process
• Extract, Tra nsform and Load (ETL) into data warehouses
• Acquire software skills to ETL data
• Gain experience with data warehousing solutions

About you

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with a can-do attitude and welcomes the opportunity to roll up their sleeves to get things done and drive results. We hope you’re excited about the position! To make the most of the role, you would have to be:

• Knowledge of SQL/Python
• Proficient in the use of data analysis tool eg. Excel, Power BI
• A graduate holding a Bachelor’s Degree in informatics, Engineering or a degree in a related field
• Outstanding ability to understand data and data models
• Outstanding written, oral and organisational ability
• Outstanding analytical skills in working with unstructured datasets
