Job Description

CAFÉ MANAGER

Bamboo U and The Kul Kul Farm is searching for a qualified candidate to manage our existing food and beverage offerings for courses as well as to help run a small cafe that is located on the Green School Bali campus. Additionally, we are developing a restaurant as part of The Kul Kul Farm which is planned to be reopened in 2024.

1. **Passion for Health Food**: Craft and prepare nourishing, health-conscious dishes (experience in Healthy Food preparation is a significant advantage).

2. **Innovative Menu Development**: Innovate and create captivating new menu concepts that resonate with our ethos.

3. **Menu Development**: Demonstrate an understanding of food and cooking to work with our in house cook to create new menu items.

4. **Menu Management**: Take ownership of menu setup, pricing, cost analysis, and enticing food presentation to drive sales.

5. **Strategic Sourcing**: Collaborate with Purchasing to streamline pre-ordering and procurement of quality ingredients.

6. **Operational Oversight**: Review and analyze Supervisor FS reports, addressing issues and optimizing performance.

7. **Financial Stewardship**: Prepare comprehensive budget reports on a monthly and yearly basis.

8. **Leadership**: Lead, guide, and ensure team adherence to SOPs, fostering a culture of excellence.

9. **Exceptional Customer Service**: Manage complex customer concerns, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.

10. **Sales Strategy**: Strategize and execute initiatives to navigate fluctuations in sales.

11. **Inventory Mastery**: Oversee meticulous inventory checks to maintain optimal stock levels.

12. **Sales Insights**: Utilize sales reports to identify trends, optimize offerings, and trim non-performing items.

13. **Profit Maximization**: Introduce profitable new items while phasing out underperforming ones.

14. **Ambiance and Hygiene**: Uphold a pristine and organized café environment, extending to the surrounding area.


**Qualifications:**

1. **F&B Expertise**: Understanding of the Food & Beverage industry.

2. **Relevant Experience**: Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.

3. **Effective Communication**: Conversational fluency in English to facilitate seamless interaction.

4. **Hospitality**: Background in hospitality and customer service

5. **Leadership**: Exhibit strong leadership skills, fostering positive attitudes within the team.

6. **Personable **: Embody a pleasant and approachable personality for customers

7. **Immediate Availability**: Able to join promptly.
