Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Node.js to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable server-side applications. Your expertise in Node.js will be essential in building high-performance and efficient backend systems that power our web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
3. Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend components.
4. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
5. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring high availability and reliability.
6. Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other technical challenges.
7. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.
8. Collaborate with DevOps engineers to deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
9. Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends related to backend development.
10. Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow professionally.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
2. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js.
3. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and asynchronous programming.
4. Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
5. Experience with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
6. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and deploying applications in a cloud environment.
7. Understanding of version control systems like Git and familiarity with collaborative development workflows.
8. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
10. Good communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
