Digital Backend Developer Jobs

As a Digital Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of the digital backend systems for our organization, with a focus on the Insurance Industry. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure the performance, scalability, and security of our backend systems. Your expertise in Java and .Net, along with your commitment to best practices such as Unit Testing, will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver efficient and effective solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain backend applications, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and are aligned with business requirements.
• Work on projects within the Insurance Industry, leveraging your domain knowledge to address industry-specific challenges.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner to ensure seamless system functionality.
• Conduct unit testing and ensure the robustness, performance, and reliability of backend services.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience working in the Insurance Industry, with a strong understanding of its processes and requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including Unit Testing, version control, and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and .Net, with a track record of successful projects in these languages.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in Backend Development.
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
