Associate Quality Inspector Jobs

Job Overview:
Assist the Senior Quality Inspector / Quality Inspector in determining product conformity to customer specification through independent inspections and tests in accordance with the Project Quality plan. Identify non-conformity for rectification and assure final resolution.
Responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Perform Quality Control of Coating work for structural and Piping during Fabrication & Erection per the project requirements and approved Project Procedure.
• Perform Quality assessment on the Construction Coating work as per the approved procedure and project requirements.
• Highlight any discrepancies or nonconformance of work/product that deviate requirement/project approved procedure/specification.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Direct work experience and demonstrated thorough working knowledge of coating materials, application methods, quality activities and recognized engineering codes and standards required for the work such as ASTM, ISO, NACE SPs and SSPC SPs.
• Currently certified by either NACE 2, or SSPC as PCI, or CSWIP BGas Gr2 or Approved equivalent certification level and scheme.
• Familiar with fabrication of Oil and Gas Platform, pipeline, and jackets
• Diploma/Senior High School.
• Practical experiences with all coating inspection activities during all phases of project fabrication, erection & installation.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience post qualification of which 4 years must be in offshore with similar project for coating of fabrication structural and piping.
