Job Role / Job Overview

The Assistant Production Manager role will be supervising Production Supervisors and Staffs; organizing, monitoring work flow and output achievement.

Key Responsibilities for this role

• Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance data, manpower utilization; maintains safe and clean work environment.
• Ensure that work areas are kept clean and tidy so that proper safety precautions and standards are maintained
• Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Allocating labour resources, tracking productivity and schedules in Production Dept.
• Ensuring that all planned & targeted production schedule and quality controls promptly achieved
• Control all aspects of production ensuring optimum utilization of manpower, machinery and materials
• Responsible for execution of Company production policies, procedures and standards.

Education & Industry Experience required

• Knowledge and experience implementing of Lean manufacturing tools and practices including 5S, Kaizen, SIPOC
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Possess critical thinking skills, a desire to improve processes and the ability to take ownership of problem solving, and critical follow-up activities.
• Preferably Assistant Manager or Senior Supervisor specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the same position is required for this role.
• Applicants from Batam are highly prioritized.
• Strong leadership and teamwork attitude and sound communication relation with Managers, Maintenance, Engineering and Quality Dept.
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Familiarity and experience with electrical/electronic components, wire harness, etc. would be a plus.
