About The AML & CTF Manager Role

Reporting to the business leaders, AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CTF (Counter-Terrorist Financing) roles require individuals with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of financial regulations. These professionals play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and security of the financial system, safeguarding it from illicit activities and contributing to national and global security efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the AML/CTF function
• Update, maintain, and make sure that AML/CTF policies of the company is aligned and comply with all regulatory requirements
• Conduct AML/CTF related periodic/adhoc reporting to the regulators
• Perform client and AML related transaction reviews along with STR reporting to regulators in a timely manner
• Work closely with the relevant team to formulate and implement appropriate controls and policies/procedures
• Advise/provide training to other functions in the company on AML/CTF topics

To succeed in this AML & CTF Manager role, you will need to be able to prevent and detect activities related to money laundering and other financial crimes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.

Key Requirements

• Able to set up policies and procedures from scratch
• Familiar with the regulatory reporting systems related to AML/CTF eg. GoAML, SIPENDAR, PEP, SIGAP, etc.
• Capable of working independently
• At least five years as an AML officer in securities company or financial institution
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field. WPPE license is optional
• English proficiency is a must, Mandarin speaker is highly favourable due to the nature of the role
• Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiar with OJK/PPATK or any other relevant regulators on AML/CTF requirements
