Job Purpose:

Develop, maintain, and improve application backend/ middleware/ frontend to support business.

This position will be reporting to the Backend Developer Lead.

Main Responsibility

• Write endpoints for API and ensure data validation
• Get feedback from, and build solutions for users and customers
• Write functional requirement documents and guides
• Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features 1
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize platform and API for maximum speed and scalability
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Design and implementation of database and data structures
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Implementation of security and data protection

Job Requirement

• Working knowledge of NoSQL, SQL and High Availability (HA) in database is a plus
• Hands-on experience in caching tools such as Redis/ MongoDB/ etc is a plus
• Proficient in Java Spring Boot
• Knowledged about Microservices architecture
• Knowledged about Source Code Management such as Git
• Hands-on experience in message broker such as Kafka/ ActiveMQ/ RabbitMQ, etc is a plus
• At least 2 years of experience as a Backend Developer
