Job Description

Backslash Creative Nusantara are currently seeking a highly creative and dedicated WordPress Web Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of current web technologies, with a specific focus on WordPress, as well as an intuitive understanding of user experience (UX) principles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain websites using WordPress and the Elementor Page Builder.
  • Collaborate design specialist to ensure a cohesive visual identity and user experience across all web properties.
  • Implement and test web features, plugins, and themes, while ensuring website security and performance optimization.
  • Provide technical support related to web functionality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web development, WordPress, and Elementor ecosystems.
  • Translate ideas or mockups into interactive web pages, ensuring responsive and optimized behavior across various devices and browsers.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and how they apply to web development.
  • Demonstrated experience in building responsive websites and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
  • Minimum 1.5 year of hands-on experience with WordPress and Elementor Page Builder.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, JS and SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in web design and a keen eye for good UX.


Nice to Have Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in translating HTML into customizeable Elementor widget.
  • Experience in working with multiple web projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in implementing web design using modern UI/Animation library.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Looker Studio.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Knowledge of tools and strategies to improve web conversion rates.
  • Experience in managing web hosting such as using cPanel.
