Warehouse Supervisor Jobs

Job Purpose and Impact

The Warehouse Supervisor will support and ensure the dispatch of goods (raw material until finished good) stored in the warehouse to provide the correct product supply to the plant as well as the adequate warehouse management of the location. In this role, you will execute warehouse processes to coordinate basic supply chain projects to build standardization and improvements within the business site.

Key Accountabilities

• Initiate and track the procurement of goods stock required in standard job plans to ensure all items are available to enable work to be scheduled.
• Understand, lead and monitor leading storage practices for goods.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Ensure that inventory stock and safety stock values are accurate and systematically identify obsolete, potential consignment and overstock items.
• Schedule relevant inspection of goods to ensure compliance to technical specification and quality.
• Make purchase requests of goods items to maintain the determined inventory levels, partnering with demand planner for vendor controlled inventory.
• Define the most appropriate inventory management process based on the demand for the goods to minimize working capital.
• Receive goods into the different storage locations to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize purchase to pay non-conformance while keeping received materials segregated, returning defective and non-conforming goods to suppliers while maintaining a document trail.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply
• Have experiences handling warehouse management

Preferred Qualifications

• Have strong leadership skill
• Familiar in handling reporting
• Familiar with ISO 22000, understanding on Basic Aquaculture Practices would be an advantage
• Have continuous improvement mindset
