Unity Game Developer Lead

As a Unity Game Developer Lead, you will lead a team of developers to create engaging and innovative games using the Unity engine. You will be involved in all aspects of the game development process, from design to implementation and release. You will work closely with the design team to bring their ideas to life and ensure that the final product meets the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest game development trends and technologies, and share knowledge and best practices with the team
• Led and mentored a team of Unity game developers, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
• Ensure that code is well-architected, efficient, and scalable
• Work with artists and other content creators to ensure that game assets are integrated and optimized for performance
• Manage technical risks and make design and implementation decisions to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of projects
• Develop and implement game logic and functionality, including AI and physics systems
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to conceptualize, develop, and implement engaging gameplay mechanics, systems, and features.
• Design, develop, and optimize game code and systems using C# in Unity
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure games are stable and free of bugs

Requirements:

• Expert-level proficiency in C# programming and familiarity with other programming languages such as C++ or Java
• Strong understanding of game design principles and ability to apply them to game development
• Experience with cross-platform development and optimization for different platforms
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, game development, or a related field
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills
• At least two years of experience in a leadership or management role
• Strong understanding of Unity development and game development best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with game development tools, such as version control, debugging tools, and performance profiling tools
• 5+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on Unity
