Boasting a stellar track record, they are currently looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to be a part of their team.

Currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Engineer with a background in Material/Metallurgy Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers by offering technical expertise and providing solutions that meet their unique requirements. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, driving customer engagement, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing technical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback on customer needs, market trends, and product enhancements to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and application teams to provide comprehensive technical support to customers throughout the sales process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to effectively position company's products and differentiate them in the market.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, quotations, and contracts that align with customer requirements and company's commercial objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory, focusing on the sale of steel products and solutions.
  • Regularly engage with key stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and procurement professionals, to build trust and secure long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to educate customers on the benefits and features of company's steel products.
The Successful Applicant
  • Strong technical knowledge of material science, metallurgical processes, and quality control.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence customer decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Material Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build relationships.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the steel manufacturing or mining industry.
