Job Description

Empathy School Bali is a nature school that offers emotionally-intelligent, hands-on education for children with interactive approach. We believe that through exposure to nature, individualised focus, and a strong foundation in social-emotional learning our students will grow to become the compassionate leaders and change-makers of tomorrow.


We are looking for, a highly-skilled and inspiring Educator to join our awesome team. Currently we are looking for Early Years Teachers, Primary/Elementary Teachers, and Middle School Academic Facilitators for our new School Academic year 2023/2024.


General Requirements:

  • Willing to work with nature
  • Friendly with children
  • A high degree of professionalism
  • Fluent English both written and spoken
  • Creative and having artistic teaching abilities
  • A strong leadership role and ability to follow instructions but also come up with original ideas
  • Living/willing to move to Ubud, Bali or willing to commute everyday to Ubud
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills


Early Years Teacher

  • Knowledgeable about Montessori and Jolly Phonics
  • Have more than 1 year experience of teaching early years students
  • Patience and flexible


Primary School Teacher

  • Familiar about Project Based Learning
  • Able to teach Primary Math, Science, and English is a plus
  • Familiar with Cambridge/IB curriculum is a plus
  • Have more than 1 year of teaching primary/elementary students


Middle School Academic Facilitator

  • Able to teach Math, Science, and English
  • Have more than 2 years of teaching experience
  • Familiar with Project Based Learning
