JJ’s Finance team is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Tax Accountant Staff to support the Finance team. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end forecast process and support business activities by providing standard reporting as well as ad hoc analyses for these teams. This includes financial close and performance updates to both Finance and Business leadership.

Requirements

• Ability to construct financial reports
• Experienced using ERP system
• Working experience ranging 2-4 years
• Familiar to liaise with Tax Consultant & Tax Government officers
• Having Tax Brevet A & B is a must
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Excellent computer and Ms. Office Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Deep Understanding of Indonesian Tax Regulation

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports
• Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
• Prepare reconciliation on a monthly basis for withholding tax and VAT by comparing GL account versus VAT Report;
• Review and validate Faktur Pajak before it is recorded in the system and reported to the tax authority, including E-faktur, Monthly VAT Reporting
• Any other ad hoc project in the future
• Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
• VAT WHT Equalization
• Prepare tax payment proposal on monthly basis (all taxes)
• Withhold transactions subject to relevant withholding tax accordingly to Indonesian tax regulations,
• Return documents to the supplier when required to avoid unclaimable VAT from the tax authority
• Support Finance Reporting.

Education & Experience

BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or Economics

Location

JJ is an organization with offices in multiple cities in Indonesia. This position is located in East Jakarta and is onsite four-days a week. We require all employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid with a primary series and booster.
