Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary financial information and documentation for accurate tax reporting.
• Respond to tax-related inquiries from clients and authorities, providing clear explanations and guidance.
• Participate in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients as needed.
• Conduct thorough research on tax laws and regulations to stay updated on changes and their impact on financial reporting.
• Assist in tax planning and strategizing to optimize clients' tax liabilities and minimize tax burdens.
• Analyze financial statements and transactions to ensure accurate and timely recording of tax-related information.
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and identifying potential deductions and credits.
• Assist in preparing and submitting tax forms, including estimated tax payments and extensions.

Qualifications

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred.
• Familiarity with tax planning strategies and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tax-related tasks efficiently.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex tax laws and provide accurate tax calculations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and financial accounting systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar tax-focused role.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesia's tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
