Our end-client, headquartered in Bali, Indonesia, is a service-based business that provides Digital Marketing, IT, MarTech and Customer Engagement services to international sustainable energy business which operations and communications are using Microsoft first, D365, Azure, DevOps, teams and Microsoft’s productivity suite, augmented by additional solutions where necessary.

Due to expansion of the business, the SharePoint Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the organisation’s SharePoint-based solutions. This includes customising SharePoint sites to meet specific business needs, integrating SharePoint with other systems and tools, and managing the deployment and maintenance of SharePoint environments through our Azure DevOps Application lifecycle management systems.

Some specific responsibilities of a SharePoint Developer include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the infrastructure as code deployment and maintenance of SharePoint environments, including upgrading and patching business systems as necessary
• Integrating SharePoint with other business systems and tools, such as Microsoft Viva suite, Microsoft teams, Azure resources, databases and line-of-business applications to create a seamless and efficient user experience
• Designing and developing custom SharePoint solutions for the organisation's modern intranet platform using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and .NET
• Collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs
• Customising SharePoint sites to meet the specific needs of different business units or departments
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System (compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001)
• Participating in the full C.I / C.D software development life cycle through our Azure DevOps tooling, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, writing code, testing, and deploying applications
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance for SharePoint users

Skills/ Experience Required:

• Knowledgeable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and .NET
• Knowledgeable with the Microsoft Azure/Viva suite
• Computer literate and proficient with the Microsoft suite (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, where needed)
• Strong IT/SharePoint related technologies and integration experience
• Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree level and above
• An intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Excel would be advantageous
• Understanding of User Experience design
• The ability to foster self-motivation to achieve tight deadlines
• Deep understanding of modern intranet platforms and design principles
• Team player, innovative with sound judgement and solutions driven
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a developer role
• Excellent level of written and spoken English
• Ability to think systematically and troubleshoot SharePoint and IT related problems
• Proven ability to use logic and common sense to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Language: Fluency in English (min. B2 level)
