Purpose of Role:
Responsible

• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including equipment serviced, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of service technicians responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing dewatering pumps and related equipment.
• Prepare service reports, performance metrics, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development of team members.
• Coordinate and schedule service requests, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely response to customer needs.
• Handle escalated customer inquiries or concerns, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolution.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations during all service operations.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer training and mentorship, and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
• Act as a point of contact for escalated customer inquiries or concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to provide technical support and solutions to clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
• Oversee the planning and execution of preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of dewatering pumps both on-site and in the workshop.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor and manage recommended spare parts for recondition, tools, and equipment required for service operations.

Requirements:

• Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficient in using computer software and tools for record-keeping, reporting, and communication.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Proven experience (5 years) in a supervisory role within the dewatering pump industry or a similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Strong technical knowledge of dewatering pumps, their operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
