Senior Data Scientist - Merchant Lending

As a Senior Data Scientist of Credit Risk, you will work closely with business, product and engineering teams of the GTF merchant lending cluster, to continuously iterate our lending products and services for GoFood merchants, to help accelerate their business growth. You will be developing, analyzing and productionizing various machine learning models for purposes related to credit risk management and go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and partner closely with the other teams to devise policies and strategies that bring the best value from the developed models.

What will you do

• Design, develop and maintain various credit risk scorecard models (A/B/C scores) for GoFood merchant lending business
• Develop other specific models and data insights that are required by the business team in improving the BAU processes, such as merchant whitelisting, underwriting, account management and collection, etc.
• Design, develop and iterate GTM related machine learning models such as propensity model and user profiling models
• Engage with business, product and engineering teams on regular cadence and ad hoc meetings, in addressing any issues related to data and our models, as well as strategizing the business roadmap with data insights

What you will need

• Practical experience experiences in MLOps is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in using Python, SQL, and Excel for modeling and data analysis
• Minimal Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• Experience of working with big data and modern machine learning techniques, such as logistic regression, boosting models and deep learning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven record in data science and credit risk areas, with solid understanding of their fundamentals and advances
