POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for working in a group environment in supports the manufacturing operations by providing QC technical support in controlling the processes, and assuring customer requirements are met. Performs a major role in day-to-day problem solving, and helps to provide the PFMEA, control Plans for their responsible areas and conducts supplier audits.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCY :

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for handling English speaking people.
• Independent, motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Min. 5 years of progressively responsible experience in quality control/assurance, Product reliability, and laboratory test procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other technical discipline.
• Structured method of operation, self-dependent with an ability to work well under pressure and given deadlines.
• Team-oriented, flexible with strong leadership skills.
• Good knowledge about PCBA, IATF 16949 as well as 14001.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manages the supplier quality activities from design through program launch.
• Confers with and works with engineering and manufacturing personnel to resolve problems relative to products’ designs, specifications, materials, tooling, and production operations affecting quality;
• Assists product inspection/test.
• Product capability parameters are maintained at their inherent design level during the pilot and production phases;
• Developing, implementing, maintaining and improving IATF16949 quality system and ISO 14001, OSHA
• Conduct internal and supplier audit.
• Maintain and keep working area to meet environmental requirements and regulation compliance.
• Coordinates PPAP submissions to customers
• Regularly audits suppliers to ensure conformance with product specifications and standards.
• Performs failure analysis following the 8D guidelines
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Conduct surveillance audit for IATF 16949.
