Purchasing Staff Jobs

Purchasing Staff is responsible for ensuring that Purchase Orders are raised and approved, goods and services are received and orders are receipted in a complete, accurate, and timely manner. The Purchasing Staff is expected to liaise with suppliers across the business to align the purchasing process with sales objectives and overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Enter order details (e.g. suppliers, quantities, prices) into internal databases (Inventory)
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
• Examine and review products and supplies to ensure quality
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers according to Food Safety Regulation
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

• Required Skill(s): vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors), supply chain, negotiation
• Fluent in English both speaking and writing
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree
• Available to join anytime
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel formula, etc)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the related field is required for this position
• Salary will be according to Industry Standards
• Willing to be placed at Cakung, Jakarta Utara
