Job Description

As a Purchasing, you are required to:

  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of the PO.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
  • Compile a list of purchases of goods needed by all departments.
  • Send PO to suppliers & vendors of goods and services.
  • Review quality of purchased products.
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
  • Create a document order / purchase order (PO).
  • Enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices, etc.) into internal database.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
  • Research and list potential vendors.
  • Request purchase approval from the management / finance department for the purchase budget.
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
  • Categorize the purchase list between; purchase of goods monthly, weekly, daily or/and one-time purchase.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors).
  • Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer minimum 1 year.
  • Excellent Negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Hold at least diploma degree majoring in Accounting, Management, or equivalent.
  • Good self-organization skills.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
