• Manage and supervise day-to-day production operations, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources to meet production targets

• Provide leadership and guidance to production staff

• Collaborate with the production planning team to develop production schedules and ensure optimal utilization of resources, such as manpower, equipment, and materials

• Promote and enforce a culture of safety within the production facility, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

• Work closely with inventory control personnel to monitor and manage inventory levels, ensure accurate stock counts, and coordinate material requisitions to support smooth production flow

• Track production performance metrics, such as output, scrap, downtime, and efficiency. Generate reports and provide regular updates to management on production status and key performance indicators

• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics, to resolve production-related issues, address equipment maintenance needs, and optimize overall operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as industrial engineering, production management, or a related discipline.

• Min. 2-3 years of work experience as a supervisor or similar position in the manufacturing industry

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse workforce

• Highly responsible and reliable

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving production targets and resolving operational challenges

• Solid understanding of production processes, production planning, and quality control principles

• Familiarity with quality management systems and tools, such as Six Sigma or Total Quality Management (TQM)

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with cross-functional teams
