Production Scheduler


This position reports to IHI Plan Planning & Supply Reliability Lead and is based at Jakarta Raya.

What You Will Do


The position is responsible for:


In this dynamic and impactful role, you will develop both short-term and long-term production schedules, aiming to optimize production output while maintaining operational efficiency. Beyond planning, you will be the go-to person for resolving day-to-day production challenges, ensuring that schedules meet set targets. By coordinating with MRP planners and engineering teams, you'll create harmonious workflows that seamlessly integrate resource planning and maintenance. Lastly, you will be a change agent in advancing the scheduling process, utilizing digital tools to make it more efficient and visually intuitive.


Key Responsibilities


  • Continually improve scheduling processes, with a focus on digital visualization tools for better efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate planned maintenance into production schedules.
  • Develop short-term and long-term production schedules to achieve maximum output.
  • Resolve day-to-day production issues, ensuring adherence to planned schedules.
  • Coordinate with MRP planners to align schedules and ensure resource readiness.

What We Are Looking For


Required Qualifications


  • Must be skilled in SAP APO; experience with Power BI and Tableau is a plus.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be open to recommending process improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute constructively to multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supply chain processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience in handling production scheduling.
