PRODUCT DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (PART-TIME)

Location: Remote (With occasional visits to Surabaya)

OVERVIEW:

Miniletics is a premium Indonesian athletic apparel start-up selling products directly to consumers through e-commerce. We believe in the power of small, consistent progress for a better self. We're looking for a Part-Time Product Design & Development Manager with a deep understanding of athletic apparel and performance wear. This individual will play a critical role in the conception, design, and development of our product line.

They would be responsible for overseeing the design and development of new products, as well as improving existing ones. They would also work closely with other teams in the organization to ensure that products meet customer needs, are marketable, and align with the brand's identity and values.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Lead the design and development of new products from initial concept to final production.

·Collaborate closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches.

·Keep a keen eye on market trends, customer needs, and competitive products to inform our design and development process.

·Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of quality materials and components.

·Uphold our commitment to sustainability in the product development process.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work remotely and make occasional visits to Surabaya.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as Adobe Illustrator, CAD programs, Microsoft Office, etc.
• An in-depth understanding of performance wear, materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability in fashion.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your previous work in apparel design and development.
• 5+ years of experience in product design and development, preferably in the athletic apparel industry.
