Php Developer (Moodle Experience) - 1-Year Contract

As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our Moodle-based learning management system (LMS). Your primary focus will be on PHP development, customization, and integration within the Moodle framework. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of the Moodle system.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in Moodle and e-learning development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Integrate third-party plugins and modules into the Moodle system as needed.
• Customize Moodle themes, templates, and layouts to ensure an engaging and user-friendly experience.
• Write clean, efficient, and secure PHP code in accordance with best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Moodle functionality, performance, and integration.
• Develop, customize, and maintain the Moodle-based learning management system to meet the organization's e-learning requirements.
• Collaborate with the development team, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to implement and enhance Moodle functionalities.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Moodle's architecture, APIs, and module development.
• Proficient in working with PHP frameworks (such as Laravel, CodeIgniter) and version control systems (such as Git).
• Experience with Moodle LMS customization, plugin development, and integration.
• Solid understanding of web application development principles, including security and performance optimization.
• Proven work experience as a PHP Developer, preferably with Moodle development experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
