Mobile Developer Jobs

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Singapore team leader or immediate supervisor to define the core technical solutions and provide recommendations in selection/implementation of software framework or architecture.
• Deliver mobile app across the lifecycle from concept, design, prototype, build, deploy and support.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Responsible in various maintenance support activities for the respective assigned mobile app projects such as bug fixing, enhancement development, system/application deployment, and user support.
• To be involved in creating required project documentation such as functional requirement, functional specification, application design, detail design document, etc.
• Be part of the remote development team in Singapore to develop and evolve a mobile app for MIMS.
• Able to grasp and handle urgent requests or issues immediately.
• Keep up to date on the latest industry trends and demands in mobile technology.
• You may also be expected to provide frontend development both for web applications and mobile apps.
• You are required to apply quality processes on assigned projects and work closely with the development team during the project life cycle and QC team during test cycle.
• Assisting the Singapore team leader or immediate supervisor to define technical solution necessary to support the standard SDLC process e.g., testing tools or build configuration management system source & secure relevant external party media partnerships to augment the news content strategy.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement:

• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ).
• Extensive skills and experience on mobile app development using Node.JS, Expo.io and React Native, IS A MUST
• Third-Party SDK Integration, Web Services, JSON, Restful APIs.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience on iOS and Android development with the ability to write high-quality, elegant, readable, and well-documented code.
• Candidate should have B. E / B. TECH / MCA in IT or Computer Science.
• Have passion on mobile software engineering and mobile products, plus points if you are familiar with LMS and Healthcare type of mobile app products.
• Someone who is responsible, highly accountable, proactive, and collaborative.
• Apply knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) including all the latest features.
• Organized, focused, and experienced in effort/time estimation and prioritisation of tasks.
• Excellent understanding of software engineering
• Curiosity to explore creative solutions and try latest technologies that would be beneficial to the project and business needs.
• Familiar with Agile/SCRUM methodology, back-end Integration & APIs, testing and performance tuning.
• Excellent English communication skills and willingness to fit well in a collaborative and versatile team.
• Proactive, quick, and sharp analytics skills in identifying and fixing bugs and defects.

Good to have:

• Good control over source control such as Tortoise SVN and Github
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Redux-saga, AsyncStorage
• Experience in working with various unit test and automated mobile UI acceptance test.
• Experience in Java, Object-C, Swift
• Experience with build and deployment, TDD, unit testing with tools like Jest, Postman, testing-library.
