Description:

Summer Club is our annual Holiday Club that introduces various STEM topic to young girls (High School students, from grade 9-12) and delivers a fun-filled week of learning and unique empowerment events. We hope that through the Winter Club, the girls will be inspired to become the next generation of leaders.

Summer Club 2023 will be held on June 26th - July 7th, 2022 and there is 4 topics will be teached:

Week 1 (June 26th - 30th, 2022):

• Computer Science 101
• UI/UX Design

Week 2 (July 3rd - 7th, 2022)

• Data Science
• Web Development

(each topic will be held in 2 language, Bahasa Indonesia and English)

(as a mentor registrant, you just need to pick one of the topics and language)

Requirements:

1. Minimal born year are 2005
2. Mentoring experience would be nice but not compulsory
3. Enthusiast in teaching and sharing knowledge to others
4. Have a good attitude, interactive communication, and able to mastering the class
5. Teamwork experiences in past project
6. Comprehend in Relevant Language/App/Subject Experience, but not compulsory

• Web Development: HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Data Science: Python, General Data Science or Statistics Knowledge
• UI/UX: Figma, User Research, User Testing
• CS101: Python

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the class with existing curriculum (adjustable)
2. You will teach via online from 9am - 3pm (1-3 is optional for office hour)
3. You will conduct the class in team! A good teamwork skill would be beneficial.
4. Keeping track of rookies’ progress
5. Conducting 1-on-1 mentoring sessions with rookies
6. Make frequent interactive activities and QnA to keep the Rookies engaged
