Junior Frontend Developer Jobs

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to join our startup team. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from designing to deployment.

If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or want to experience what it is like to work in a startup, this may be a good opportunity for you. As a Junior Frontend Developer, you should be comfortable around front-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries (what we are using is described below). You should also be comfortable working with different people who will be building the features and products with you.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Develop and manage well-functioning front-end applications with good UI/UX
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Work with the CTO, development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Create security and data protection settings
• Write technical documentation

Requirements:

• Hands on experience with front-end languages, libraries and frameworks such as ReactJS, NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript and Webpack
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• A passion for self-growth and improvement
• Great attention to detail
• Comfortable with working remotely but operating within Singapore timezone (GMT+8)
• Comfortable working with third-party libraries
• Organizational skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field (or any Comp Science education with proof and legitimacy)

Good to have:

• Have been involved and built multiple front-end projects
• Some experience in DOM Manipulation
