Job Overview:
McDermott’s Engineering IT department is looking for a Completions Management System IT Support resource.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Familiar with Microsoft SQL Studio Manager
• Familiar with Windows domains and active directory security groups
• Can use the Windows Event Viewer to diagnosis hardware and software issues
• Can perform database backups
• Familiar with .BAT / PowerShell scripting experience a plus
• Familiar with Citrix environment and how it works
• Experience with MSSQL 2016 to current
• Able to diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues
• Familiar with network file shares and permissions
• Familiar with SQL databases
• Familiar with database administration and able to do the following
• Familiar with Microsoft server configuration v2016 R2 or later
• Can run simple SQL scripts
• Can use CrowdStrike Event Viewer to diagnosis anti-virus issues
• Familiar with the security groups in SQL
• Experience with IT Network and System infrastructure design, administration, and support
• Ability to write SQL statements considered a plus
• Can perform database restores
• Experience with software installation on servers
• Can troubleshoot database issues
• Can use the command (e.g., CMD) prompt to troubleshoot network issues
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure (certification preferred)

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience with IT Network and System infrastructure design, administration, and support
