Information Security Officer Jobs

Role Summary:

The Information Security Officer will be responsible for managing the cybersecurity policies and strategies of Bank Indonesia. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the resilience and security of the financial industry. Additionally, the Information Security Officer will need to submit regular reports on information security technology to top management and help increase awareness of cybersecurity both internally and externally.

Success in the position looks like creating and implementing effective cybersecurity policies and strategies, regularly submitting informative and concise information security technology reports to top management and ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining the resilience and security of the financial industry.

This role fits into the organization overall by providing cybersecurity expertise to Bank Indonesia's efforts to maintain a secure financial environment. The Information Security Officer is a key member of the team, providing guidance on cybersecurity risks and ensuring that the organization is equipped to address these risks.

Responsibility Specifics:

Prepare and submit Information Security Technology reviews to top management.

1. Conduct regular reviews of Bank Indonesia's information security technology.
2. Identify potential weaknesses or areas for improvement in the current technology and suggest ways to address them.
3. Prepare and submit detailed and informative reports to top management regarding the results of these reviews

Manage Cyber Security Policy and Strategy in Bank Indonesia

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity policy and strategy for Bank Indonesia
2. Ensure that the policy and strategy are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
3. Monitor and update the policy and strategy regularly to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
4. Manage cooperation and coordination with stakeholders regarding resilience and cybersecurity in the financial industry.
5. Identify key stakeholders involved in maintaining the resilience and security of the financial industry.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with these stakeholders to ensure cooperation and coordination on cybersecurity matters.
7. Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address cybersecurity risks and threats to the financial industry.

Help increase awareness of resilience and cybersecurity internally and externally to Bank Indonesia

1. Develop and implement training programs and awareness campaigns to educate employees on cybersecurity risks and best practices.
2. Represent Bank Indonesia at industry events and conferences to share information and insights on cybersecurity.
3. Work closely with external partners and stakeholders to raise awareness of cybersecurity risks and threats in the financial industry.

Qualifications:

Skills:

3. Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
5. Strong leadership and management skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security or related field

Proven experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and strategies.

Experience working with stakeholders in the financial industry.

Certifications:

Have IT governance equivalent certification in information security is a plus.
