Job position: Certified Wellness Consultant (RESORT BASED / FULL-TIME JOB)

Job Level: Assistant Manager Level

Direct Report: Spa & Wellness Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY:

oThe Wellness Consultant at REVIVO Wellness Resorts, Bali is responsible for managing the operations of the Wellness Department to provide an exceptional guest experience in alignment with the resort's policies and procedures.

oThey serve as a wellness mentor, guiding guests through various retreat programs such as detox and mindfulness retreats. Prior to their arrival, the consultant engages in online conversations with guests to assess their mental, physical, emotional, and health conditions. They also conduct private arrival consultations, including one-on-one conversations and Bio Impendent Analyses, to determine the guests' muscle, metabolism, and other relevant factors, enabling them to recommend and create the best program. The consultant must possess a strong background in nutrition, anatomy, physiology, and body understanding.

oThroughout the retreat, the consultant acts as the main point of contact for guests, addressing any concerns or issues related to pain, sleep, stress, and other similar matters. Timely and appropriate follow-ups with guests during and after the retreat are also part of the consultant's responsibilities. As a Wellness Consultant, delivering friendly and personalized service to customers and guests is essential.

oAdditionally, the consultant takes ownership of the cleanliness and maintenance of all wellness areas, including the consultation room, gym, equipment, Pilates room, hammock yoga area, and meditation/yoga room. They actively contribute to revenue generation and efficiently promote activities to ensure maximum bookings. Furthermore, if the consultant possesses additional skills like yoga, meditation, reiki, or alternative therapies, they will be required to incorporate these into the program and schedule. Consultants with a background in physiology and nutrition may also be required to host workshops for guests when required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage the daily operations of the Moveo Wellness Department.

• Collaborate with the wellness team and Spa & Wellness Manager to develop the annual program, promotions, and plans for the Moveo Wellness Department.

• Prepare and submit weekly reports to the Spa & Wellness Manager.

• Provide on-the-job training to the wellness coach and assist the Spa & Wellness Manager in reinforcing product knowledge, service standards, and departmental policies and procedures.

• Ensure that all Moveo Wellness Department facilities and equipment are fully operational and regularly serviced according to service contracts. Any malfunctioning equipment should be either repaired or marked as out of use to ensure guest safety and comfort.

• Maintain cleanliness in all areas and equipment within the Moveo Wellness Department.

• Deliver friendly and personalized service to customers and guests, ensuring consistent quality from all team members. Orient guests to the facility as needed.

• Effectively handle customer feedback, addressing complaints promptly and implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues.

• Keep the first aid kit well-stocked and maintained at all times.

• Collaborate with other departments as necessary.

• Prepare class schedules for activities, and if required, host movement or mindfulness classes.

• Track and respond to all bookings received through email and online consultations.

• Design retreats in accordance with the Brand Concept and ensure they are tailored to guests' needs.

• Conduct arrival and exit consultations for guests based on their specific retreats and programs.

• Monitor guests' progress and performance during their retreats.

• Develop and participate in wellness promotion programs to showcase REVIVO facilities and retreat packages.

• Take responsibility for wellness promotion and programs for both in-house and external guests, in cooperation with the Spa & Wellness Manager.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT:

·Develop and recommend appropriate training needs to the Human Resources Department

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:

·Establish and maintain effective internal communications, including daily briefings, weekly meetings with Moveo Wellness Department employees to ensure optimum teamwork and productivity

·Seek ways to motivate and challenge our team

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

·Ensures all potential and actual hazards are minimized.

·Fully understands the properties fire, emergency and security procedures

·Ensure that the properties health and safety policies, relevant laws and regulations are practised and enforced, whilst updating and communicating changes where necessary

·Ensure the Moveo team works in a safe manner that does not harm or injure itself or others

·Stimulates and encourages a general awareness of health and safety in tasks and activities

·Anticipates possible and probable hazards and conditions, corrects them or enforces action to prevent them from happening

·Ensures that high standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language

MISCELLANEOUS:

·Attends meetings and trainings when required

·Contributes to guest satisfaction by attending requests and enquiries courteously and efficiently

·Accepts flexible work schedules when necessary to provide uninterrupted service to guests

·Maintains working environment, materials and company property in an organized, clean and orderly manner

·Continuously seeks to improve the department's efficient operation and knowledge related to your job

·Assist with the training and development of Revivo Bali

·In addition to the specified responsibilities, the position will willingly undertake any other additional assignments/responsibilities as assigned by the management
