Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO:


The Head of Marketing (HOM) plays a key role in growing South Jakarta’s most exciting sports and entertainment venue. He/she will report to the Director of Operations and will be a key member of the executive team. The HOM will be directly responsible to lead, develop and execute targeted high-impact marketing strategies and campaigns to increase awareness of the Topgolf brand and identity with the aim of driving footfall and revenue. He/she will have plenty of freedom to develop and execute creative ideas in collaboration with members of the regional and Topgolf International team.


HOW YOU’LL DO IT:


  • Develop Topgolf’s unique identity, brand awareness and wide array of service offerings in the Indonesian market by proactively developing and executing targeted marketing communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Day-to-day management of a team of marketing professionals (including agencies) that handles media & influencer relations, online & offline advertising, e-commerce, design and internal communications.
  • Lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, including search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing, and social media advertising.
  • Source and develop creative content for use on both Topgolf’s website and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok). Where necessary, identify, select and onboard strategic marketing/advertising agencies to assist in content creation for various advertising, sales promotions, public relations and direct marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets to ensure effective allocation of resources and achieve desired results.
  • Research competitors’ products/services, interpret market data and guest insight, revenue management and areas for differentiation.
  • Attend marketing meetings with corporations and companies, golf events, trade symposiums and other events to drive awareness of the Topgolf brand and its offerings.
  • Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, print, and outdoor advertising. The aim here is to pique interest levels and create the excitement which will lead to a high visitor count when the venue opens.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, and Finance, to align marketing efforts with business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor, measure and report on marketing & communications activities, and manage project budgets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other internal stakeholders to identify storytelling opportunities.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:


  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Demonstrate Topgolf’s Core Values at all times: Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage and Caring.
  • 10-12 years of progressive experience, with the last 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in hospitality, attractions, entertainment, sports, events marketing, big box retail or food & beverage/fast casual.
  • Strong network (media, influences, creative agencies and freelancers) is a plus.
  • A brand-savvy marketer with a proven track record of success in launching and/or introducing new brands, experiences or unique concepts in Indonesia.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • A self-directed and highly motivated professional capable of executing both individually or with a small dedicated or cross-functional team.
  • A marketer with a ‘keen ear to the ground’. Aware of the latest marketing trends and know to incorporate these trends in the conceptualization of catchy and effective marketing campaigns and collateral.
  • Deep knowledge of digital and traditional marketing, particularly SEO and SEM.
