Job Description

G.A Studio Inc, an innovative game company situated in the captivating surroundings of Bali, is currently seeking a vibrant and imaginative individual to join our team as a Game Server Programmer. Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related field
  • Ability to contribute to innovation in game design.
  • Able to work on-site in Bali, Indonesia
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Highly proficient in programming languages, such as C/C++ and network programming
  • 1+ years of experience developing video games
  • Excellent Communication and collaboration abilities.


Preferred qualifications

  • Experience of developing Multi Thread
  • Experience using Cloud Service (AWS, GCP, NCP, Ali)
  • 1+ years of experience in commercial game service
  • Experience using DB Querry
  • Experience of game localization and customization
  • Experience using SQL (MS-SQL, MySQL)


Responsibility

  • Optimizing server performance and scalability to handle a large number of concurrent players.
  • Collaborating with the operations team to deploy and manage game servers in production environments.
  • Implementing server-side game logic and features.
  • Conducting testing and debugging of server code to identify and fix any issues or bugs.
  • Implementing network protocols and communication systems for real-time multiplayer functionality.
  • Designing and implementing server-side security measures to prevent cheating and hacking.
  • Developing and maintaining the game server architecture and infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with game designers and client programmers to ensure smooth integration between the game client and server.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to game server development.
  • Monitoring and analyzing server performance and stability to ensure smooth gameplay experience.
