Functional Safety Jobs

Responsibilities

• Consult And Advocate Best Practice Through Participation In Safety Risk Assessment Such As FMEA, Risk Analysis And Hazard Identification.
• Lead Functional Safety Reviews As Needed Both Internally With The Project Team And With Cross-engineering Department
• Development And Application Of The Current And Future Requirements For Functional Safety (ISO26262, SNI, Etc)
• Understand Intended Functionality Of Systems In A Broad Automotive Context
• Generate The Necessary Functional Safety Documentation For The Project Following Relevant Standardization (ISO26262, SNI, Etc) , Including Item Definition; Fault-tree Analysis; Hazard Analysis; Functional And Technical Safety Concepts And Requirements; Validation Plans

Qualifications

• A person of integrity; honest and has strong moral principles
• Experience in conducting/leading FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, HARA activities
• Experience in development of one or more of: automotive powertrain control systems, high-voltage electrical power supplies, hybrid vehicles, ADAS features or
• Relevant engineering experience (ideally Systems or Safety Engineering)
• Minimum BSc or BEng in Automotive, Electrical or equivalent Engineering
