FRONTEND DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:

● This is primarily a coding position.

● Develop and enhance interactive user experience by using the best practices in modern Frontend development.

● Improve the UI app layout and structure to ensure reliability, scalability and security.

● Design, estimate, and code new features.

● Design, build and maintain clean, efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

● Architect new applications, and expand existing ones.

● Investigate and fix production issues.

● Ensure all code that goes to production is of top quality.

● Ensure existing applications are scaled to meet expected demand.

● Identify and fix gaps in system reliability, such as production monitoring.

● Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem

● Perform testing and create technical documentation.

● Participate in software design discussions.

● Participate in sprint planning and other project management meetings.

● Collaborate extensively with Team Lead, Product Managers, Designers, and fellow Engineers to develop features that drive the metrics.

● Lead teams to the successful delivery of software projects.

Requirements:

● More than 5 years working experience as Frontend Engineer.

● JavaScript and ReactJS expertise and have strong knowledge of state management such as Redux.

● Experience with other JavaScript Framework.

● Strong knowledge of Frontend application build tool such as webpack.

● Strong knowledge of REST and pub/sub design patterns.

● Experience with Frontend unit test frameworks such as Jest, Mocha.

● Experience with implementing Frontend component framework.

● Ability to write well-documented, clean code.

● Ability to guide a team through refactoring high-throughput legacy code.

● Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.

● Experience with web server development technology and git version management tools.

● Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

● Candidates should be willing to work around Karawaci (WFO based).
