As a freelance video editor, your primary responsibility will be to create engaging and high-quality video content based on the clients' requirements. You will work remotely and collaborate with clients to understand their vision, gather raw footage and audio, and transform it into a final polished product.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their video editing needs and goals.
Collect and organize raw footage, audio files, and other media assets.
Edit video content to create a cohesive and visually appealing final product.
Trim and rearrange footage segments to ensure a smooth flow and logical sequence.
Apply color correction, audio enhancements, and visual effects to enhance the overall quality of the video.
Incorporate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to complement the video content.
Create and implement text overlays, captions, and other graphic elements.
Ensure that the final video meets the client's specifications and aligns with their brand guidelines.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within agreed-upon deadlines.
Communicate effectively with clients to address feedback and make necessary revisions.
Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques and industry trends.
Requirements:
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Solid understanding of video composition, color grading, and audio mixing.
Experience in creating engaging and visually appealing video content.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in style and branding.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients remotely.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Portfolio or examples of previous video editing work.
Compensation:
This is a freelance position paid on a per-project basis. The rate (est)offered is 200,000 IDR per day. The specific compensation for each project will depend on its complexity, duration, and the client's budget. Payment terms and details will be negotiated with each client individually
