A boutique style resort inCook Islandsis looking for a talented and enthusiasticFinance Officer (Full-time)

Responsibilities:

• Assist all other departments as required in times of need
• Report on all matters to the Accounts & Admin Manager, Resort Manager and company Directors
• Report to the Hotel Accountant as required and assist with the production of management reports
• Assist and support the Hotel Accountant and Administration Manager with accounting or administration related tasks as required
• Assist in training staff in front of house in accordance to the standard as required by the job description and company standards
• Assist with general ledger reconciliations
• Perform audit functions in relation daily cashiering and front office functions
• Adhere to all company guidelines and policies
• Maintain accounting records in MYOB and in relevant spreadsheets
• Analyze reports for abnormal activities or questionable results, investigate and resolve
• Perform audit functions and review all payments prior to submitting for authorization of owners

Requirements:

• Proficient in written and verbal English communication
• Knowledge of Excel and exporting and importing functions
• Willing to relocate to Cook Islands
• Experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar position in a hospitality industry
• Familiarity with cashiering procedures, cost controls and income audit procedures
• Familiarity of Property Management systems would be a plus
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and accounting procedures Competency in Ms. Office, PMS systems, databases and accounting software
• Experience with Accounting software such as MYOB or other hotel specific softwares
• Indonesian citizen
