Field Engineer Jobs

SCOPE OF WORK

• Analyze, perform, and ensure all activities in each assigned area of technical skill to support Construction Team activities in order to achieve good Safety, Quality, Cost and Environmental Standard,

• Provide a close cooperation with other group/designer and project clients and coordinate, follow up specific issue between engineering and construction.

DELIVERABLES

• Perform problem solving in each assigned area of technical skills, in order to have a better-fit design with actual field condition to meet all standard specifications of construction activity, mechanical and electrical quality and safety as set by the company as per PTFI standard, GOI standard and other international standard applied in PT FI,

• Analyze and ensure Drawings and Material Take Off (MTO) are ready for construction, in order to have construction activities can be proceeded as per construction schedule,

• Analyze designs and interface with Construction team, Engineering, Maintenance, and/or Operations to increase the level of constructability of the design, which will smoothen the progress of the overall project, as required by the client and the company,

• Support and provide input regarding the construction sequences in order to enable design which can be applied and installed efficiently, safely, and high quality of construction which can be achieved,

• Prepare Field Sketches to perform as problem solving for specific problem occurred in the field as requested by construction to smoothen the activity of construction,

• Perform and ensure reports regarding drawing and/or construction deviation as well as develop as built sketches after final construction, testing, and commissioning are performed,

• Perform close communication with QA/QC personnel to address the field engineering change requests and ensure all the changes comply with applicable standards and safety, All while verifying that costs are still within approved budgets,

• Submit daily and weekly reports to superior regarding the routines of construction activities to inform all related departments and sections where this information will be used to anticipate any possible unplanned problems that may be encountered in the future,

• Assist and train subordinates to be more professional and competent in their duties and assist the subordinates as needed in selecting equipment or tools in order to complete all tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education background

a) S1 degree from a reputable University with minimum GPA 2.75.

• Working experience

a) Minimum 3 (three) years’ experience in engineering or construction.

• Technical Skill

a) Broad knowledge of mining construction and technical skill.

b) Project Management.

c) Analytical Thinking.

d) Concern for Safety and Environment.

e) Cultural Sensitivity.

• Software Skills

a) AutoCad 2D and 3D.

b) Stadpro V.8 or higher or other Structure Analysis Program.

c) Advance in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point).
