Devops Manager Jobs

The job is responsible for overseeing the team to develop and maintain technology infrastructure, supporting engineers in the product development and deployment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Have experience leading a team(s).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Strong knowledge in scripting using Bash and Python.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or related experiences in server infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge and understanding for orchestration tools (Kubernetes), Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform), configuration management and deployment tools (Puppet, Chef), using version control (Git), virtualization tools (Docker), database solutions (SQL and NOSQL), maintain server automation platform, (Jenkins), building monitoring tools (Grafana), and building large-scale infrastructure and ecosystem using AWS and GCP tools.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Management and Development

• Create a regular report presented to the supervisor.
• Oversee the DevOps Team.
• Make an action plan monthly/yearly, monitor the achievement, and conduct the analysis.
• Establish and build out the DevOps function of the company, including developing an overall DevOps strategy.
• Supervise and be responsible for the work of the team by regularly checking on the work process and results and giving help when needed.
• Build and maintain a high performing team through strong KPI measurement and monitoring, performance management, coaching and training.

Server Infrastructure Maintenance and Improvement

• Lead the maintenance and optimization of network used in the infrastructure.
• Lead the maintenance and improvement of source code cycle.
• Lead the maintenance and optimization of database application used in the infrastructure.
• Lead the maintenance and optimization of data traffic and data storage.
• Lead the maintenance and development of automation testing and servers to support development.

Technology and Product Development

• Lead the research, analyze, test, benchmark, and evaluate new technology.
• Collaborate as a part of team to make the development process of new technology smooth and seamless.
• Work closely with Managers, Engineers, and QA teams to support the product development.
• Understand project requirements, define test cases for development and follow software development workflow.

Cloud Infrastructure Cost Management

• Lead the collaboration with product development teams to build secure, reliable, scalable, maintainable and cost-effective cloud infrastructure (DevOps).
• Review, analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure cost.
• Interact with vendors providing cloud infrastructure and related services.

Confidential Data, Safety & Others

• Do work as assigned by the supervisor.
• Implement information security policies, procedures or principles in carrying out its duties and responsibilities.
• Keep company confidential information/data.
