Job Description

We are inviting passionate and talented candidates to join our team in the position of COST CONTROLLER.

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Finance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.


As a Cost Controller, you are responsible for liaising closely with the Food & Beverage Department on various operational and cost-related issues, and your role will include key responsibilities such as:


  • Verify and control complimentary bar order forms, fruit baskets in the rooms, etc
  • Randomly test the inventory of outlets by reconciling the opening stock with the closing reserve, taking into account store issues and sales.
  • Prepare the costing for recipes and menus prepared by the Executive Chef or FB Manager and suggest the selling price.
  • Perform test checking on receiving goods at the hotel to ensure that the procedures are followed correctly.
  • Prepare daily flash reports of food costs and verify daily outlet void control sheets.


Qualifications

  • You should have a hotel management or accounting degree and at least two years ofexperience within a hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud, POS Simphoni, and Q3 Finance System is an asset.
  • A sound knowledge of F&B cost controlling, and computer literacy is a must,
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
